Mosin Nagant

Designed in late 1897, Mosin rifles were the primary long gun in both the Imperial Russian Army and the Workers’ and Peasants’ Red Army. They remained in the equipment of the Soviet army until the 1950s, when they were gradually replaced by the Kalashnikov automatic gun.
